2026 Summer Camp Program

Register early — prices increase by $5 per camp after June 15, 2026.

Please send children to camp with a water bottle and wearing sunscreen every day.

All camps are held at the PI Schoolhouse (0413 Broadway) unless otherwise noted.

Multi-Day Camps

Art Camp (ages 3+)

An exciting camp for artists of all ages! Each camper will complete the various projects at their own ability level. This is sure to be a super fun and messy week that will culminate in an art show for family and friends to attend.

Instructor: Robyn Franczyk

Dates: July 6-10, 2026

Time: 9:00-11:00am

Cost: $125 ($130 after 6/15)

Art Show – open to the community! Friday, July 10 at 10:00am

Beginner 2 Sewing (ages 7+)

We had so much fun last year that we are offering a Beginner 2 sewing class with the Prudence Island Quilters. We will be learning to cut out a pattern and use the sewing machine to make a pair of PJ pants or shorts and a cell phone purse/pouch. We will also be hand sewing a felt critter. If time allows, we will make a 9-patch pillow! Show and tell for the community on Thursday 7/16 at 11:30am. Fabric amounts will be determined once registered.

One Day Wonders

Dutch Oven Cooking (ages 6+)

Back by popular demand, learn the process of cooking a full meal and cleaning up all outside.

Instructor: Chris and Lorrie Brown

Date: July 22, 2026

Time: 9:00am-12:00pm

Cost: $60 ($65 after 6/15)

Adult Programs

Adult Quilt Workshop

Join us for two days as we learn simple piecing techniques to make a patriotic star table runner, just in time for the 250th Anniversary of the USA. If red, white, and blue aren’t your favorite colors, feel free to use summer colors instead. Learn simple quilting and binding to complete your project. Must have working knowledge of a sewing machine. Once registered, fabric amounts will be given.
